Harris End Apartment - Lancaster

The location was picturesque and peaceful as good home base for a relaxing break. As for our bedroom, it was separate, with a microwave, central heating, and an iron. Sally made everything for all of us.

The host is incredibly welcoming and sends helpful emails before arrival. The flat is warm with underfloor heating and has everything needed, including thoughtful touches like breakfast provisions. The views are beautiful, especially watching the birds and pheasants. Perfect location for walking and cycling.

Everything here was fabulous. It had a large bed. A microwave, coffee/tea making machines, and a refrigerator were provided. The apartment was near the Forest of Bowland, nice and unbeatable location overall. In fact, it was located in field in front of property...

Our stay at this breathtaking accommodation was mind-blowing! The hosts were super welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The high quality, spacious apartment featured a jaw-droppingly comfortable pocket sprung bed and stunning views of rolling hills. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, with sunloungers and a dip pool for those hot days. The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric kettle, cookware, and condiments for those who prefer to cook. The hosts even provided welcome supplies like milk, eggs, bread, butter, and jam! Parking large cars was a breeze and the easy access to the motorway made exploring a breeze. this hidden gem was the perfect getaway, offering a relaxing, peaceful location with plenty of activities like hiking and fishing in the area. We cannot wait to return for another restful break!

Just returned from a weekend getaway at a lovely little place called Harris End. The underfloor heating was fantastic, the bed was massive and very comfortable, and the views outside were absolutely stunning. Sally, the host, made us feel very welcome and even left us some delicious eggs, bread, butter, and milk. We loved the cozy chairs facing the TV for our Netflix nights. The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower. This little gem made our weekend extra special.

The apartment had everything I needed for a self catering stay, including all the necessary amenities. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, making me feel comfortable during my stay. the terrace offered stunning views and the opportunity to observe wildlife.

One minor issue was the lack of a mirror near a plug socket, making it difficult to dry or style my hair. the shared garden area meant that I didn't have complete privacy during my stay.

Pro: I had the most enjoyable stay at Harris End. the location is easy to navigate off the M6, offering a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful scenery. Waking up to the sheep in the field in front of the property was a lovely touch. Sally, the host, has thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay - the room was clean, nicely furnished, and equipped with a well-stocked kitchen. the added touch of emergency rations, including fresh eggs and biscuits, was greatly appreciated. the bathroom also had some special touches, and the TV with Netflix provided entertainment. I hope to return soon!

Convenient location for exploring the area and visiting nearby attractions. Close to shops, the Forest of Bowland, and Lancaster. Plus, it's situated in a beautiful open field in front of the property. 🌳

our second stay in lancaster was even better than the first - harris end was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. the underfloor heating, massive comfortable bed, and stunning views made us feel right at home. sally's warm welcome and thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and netflix made our weekend extra special.

Sally, our host, made us feel very welcome and explained everything we needed to know. She even left some delicious eggs, bread, butter, and milk for us. the apartment was beautifully renovated and well furnished, with a lovely bathroom and a large shower. the surrounding lands were stunning and well looked after.

We would love to return in the near future. Cons: No complaints at all!
